Rain had been watching. To her all love was gooey mushy gross stuff. She remained silent and watched them leave. She remained thinking her tail moving slowly.

Shadow growled, such disrespect. She had half a mind of demoting him. Ari and Eli were in love with each other. "You all know the pack rules I hope. Especially the one regarding mates that are not the alpha pair, you must be the same rank, which does mean that you Eli, would be demoted to Gamma, and that you cannot have pups." She pointed out.

Eli scowled at Shadow and flicked his gaze toward Ari. "There isn't a third option?" He questioned. He didn't like his options.

Shadow dissapeared behind the bush, she disappeared there often, she was surprised no one had followed her yet.

Eli rolled hi eyes and trudged after the fae, motioning for Ari to follow. He slinked his way through the branches that seemed to claw at him when he walked. "Shadow?!"

Shadow growled, "This is not a place for anyone else, why have you followed me here?" She demanded, she hid her carving of the territory.

Eli flinched. "Woah, chill. I'm not trying to make enemies here." He said defensively.

"They you have a natural talent off pissing me off Eli. There is NO THIRD OPTION." She growled. "Why can I not have moments of peace to think something through, this was my last safe haven and you desecrated it with your pawsteps." Shadow did not mean to be angry, she was just confused.

Eli was flabberghasted. She talked to him like he was dirt. He takes a beating to join her pack, and on the same day she picks countless arguements? He didn't need to put up with this. He couldn't put up with this. "I'm so sorry to have poisened the vey ground the great Shadow walks upon." He said in mock sincerity. "Aren't we a pack? What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine?" His voice was rising in volume and pitch. He couldn't help it.

"No, it's not like that." She whispered, she stepped away form her carving, the carving, she wanted to protect her secret. "I didn't want anyone to know about my carvings, but I guess it's too late now." She said, walking away from them, trying to remember happier times.

Eli twitched his ears. His heart was still racing and he gazed at the carving in amazement. "What is it?" He tracked Shadow with his eyes as she walked away.

Rain came back to the den and settled down. She wanted no part of the dispute so she remained calm and huffed.

He took a step closer,admiring the detail of it all. "Why would you want to keep this a secret?"

Ari padded up to Rain. "I am staying out of this," she murmured to her.

Rain winked, "Me too." The female chuckled, and looked at Ari. How she could love Eli, only they could know. She shrugged, to all their own. She smiled, "I told ya, you could do it."

Shadow padded away, her secret gone. Now it was the end for her, how could she go on? She was a freak of nature, wolves shouldn't be able to carve. No doubt Eli would insist of showing it to Ari and Ari to Rain. This was terrible.

Eli twitched his ears. A freak? more like an artist. It was bautiful. He was about to tell her so, but the fae was gone. He shrugged and spared one last glance at the carving before hiking back to the den site.

Shadow hiked back to her den area at the den site, curling up and passing out from exhaustion.

Rain watched Shadow pass by. She looked down at her paw again. With a determined snarl she grabbed the end in between her teeth. She gave a tug and finally the stubborn thorn came out. The black female muffled a small yelp. She sighed as blood came out of her paw, she began licking it, her tail flicking.

Shadow awoke after a nightmare. IT was a terrible dream. She stood up and walked out of the den, already grumpy she went to her carving. (The horror)

Eli layed down under a tree wearily. He didn't know why but he just felt... drained. His emtions had toyed with him all day. Anger, fear, determination, regret, wanting, wonder. Now all his thoughts were left to wander which is a dangerous thing. "Thoughts must be kept on a leash." His mother always said, but now his thoughts ran wild and he was too exhausted to catch them. Does Shadow hate me? Did I make a mistake in following her?? What does Ari see in me? Does she want me as much as I do her??
