She licked his ear. "I love you too. Want to head back to the den?" she looked at him happily, glad he wasnt angry anymore.

Eli craned his neck so he could look Ari in the eye. Eyes the color of the sun at dawn. Eyes that shined when she was happy. Like right now. Finally he had done something right. He had made Ari happy and that was all that really mattered. Here was his reward for admiting he was wrong. That look in her eyes. It was more than enough. "Okay." He agreed, his body seemed weightless as he made his way back to the den site.

Ari followed him, feeling like each paw step was on a cloud. Was this love? If it was, she liked it. Once they reached the den site, she put on a burst of speed, bringing her up beside Eli. "Were here!" she laughed, the melody filling the air. She was breathless, but happy, and she flopped down on her side, looking up at him.

He smirked at the fae as she flopped onto her side with a shallow thud. She looked up at him in such a way that made his heart flutter. He settled down next to her so that there bodies were almost touching. "I'll tell you everything from now on." He said quietly, not wanting to ever fight again.

Ari closed the gap, pressing her body against his. "Deal," she said with a smile. "I will tell you everything too." She sighed and rested her head on his back, her eyes closed.

Eli trembled as the heat of Ari's body leaked it's way through his. "Let me warn you though." He lifted his head high so he was looking down at the fae. "My life's pretty boring." He gave her a lop-sided smile.

Ari gave a muffled laughed. "Hey, have you seen Shadow lately?" she asked him, hoping he would say yes. She really wanted to spend some time with him alone, not looking for the alpha.

"Eh, a while ago... She always goes to work on.... Whatever it is Shadow does." He said quickly, not sure if Shadow wanted the pack to know of the carving. He shrugged. "She's always around." He didn't want to move. He wanted to stay in this position forever.

"Mkay..." she mumbled, happy with his response. She would look for Shadow later. Right now it was just her and Eli. She wondered why a hansome wolf like him would choose a normal wolf like her.

Eli smiled, happy that she was content on staying with him. He relaxed and rested his head on her paws so that his body curled around hers. He needed to stay with her, thou it was odd that Shadow wasn't there. Then he remembered his dream. The peak of your lives depends on leadership. The reaped soul shall never return, but as she loses control of herself, herself must find her and bring her home. "Shadow!" He yelled out loud, quickly getting to his feet.

Rain had stayed where she was and was taking a smal nap when she heard Eli. She got up immediatley and looked around.

pads around, trying to find Shadow to help her. She wonders where the packers are and wishes that she had paid more attention to the territory and scents before.

Rain looked at them in desperation. Why weren't they looking for her? She growled and barked lously, "Hey! I know you two are all lovey dovey, but we should really go search for Shadow. I'm not going to lose my alpha in less than a week." She looked at them her fur ruffled.

Eli winced at Rain's sudden outburst. "Woah, chill. I gotta think." The peak of your lives depends on leadership. The reaped soul shall never return, but as she loses control of herself, herself must find her and bring her home. He repeated it to himself a few more times, surprised he still remembered it. He still had no idea what it meant, but it may have to do with Shadow. That or he was just going mental. He sat there a moment, wondering if this 'voice' was a liable source of information.

Rain's fur ruffled at their patience. She had never been a patient kind of wolf. She bared her teeth a bit and tried relaxing. "Did you see her leave?"

Rain looked at them. No light in her eyes, no expression on her face. She suddenly felt empty. She shuddered a bit and then shook her head, "Well I'm going to go look for her even if you don't." Her face now angry and the glare back in her eye.

Eli bounded in front of Rain, blocking her path. "Wait. The peak of your lives depends on leadership. The reaped soul shall never return, but as she loses control of herself, herself must find her and bring her home. " He recited simply, tensing up a bit in preperation for a blow that was sure to come.

Rain growled as Eli blocked her path. Oh how she wished to knck him over, but he began to recite something. The peak of your lives depends on leadership. The reaped soul shall never return, but as she loses control of herself, herself must find her and bring her home. "what does that mean? Do you really expect it to be shadow, what if its Ari or even me?" she glared at him, containing herself from snapping at him.

Eli shrugged. "It could be any of you." He let his eyes flick back to Ari before focusing back on Rain. "I really don't know what to beleive."

Rain let out a sigh, she sat down relaxing. "I have never been in a pack before. I will not lose my alpha so soon." she looked at Eli, no longer in anger but desperation to find shadow. She whined a bit and stood.

Eli saw the change in Rain's eyes as she let out a sigh. "I have never been in a pack before. I will not lose my alpha so soon." He nodded. "I've been a loner for a while as well." He stayed silent for a moment, reflecting how much Shadow had done for him. She took him in as an alpha, and he never would've met Ari without her. "We just need to think through this. Assuming it is Shadow we're talking about, she left. No one forced her out, and we can't force her back in. She'll come back when she's ready." He said, hoping she would come back some time soon if ever.

Rain looked at him. she had never been loved, never been cared for. Her mother was a wolf without principle a malicious creature who cared for nothing but power. Rain had left that life for more cold shoulders. But now she had found somewhere she felt like she was at home. And although she wasn't best friends with them yet she felt better. "We can't force her but we can go out and look for her." Her gaze shifted, "I know that when I left I wanted someone to look for me. But no one ver did so I never went back."

She ducked under a small tree and laid there, exhausted. Surely someone... She didn't have time to finish the thought. She passed out from exhaustion and hunger because aparently she had not had time to hunt in her confusion...
