Ari shoved her foot in his face, using it as a launch pad. She sprung of Eli and turned to face him, her hackled raised, teeth glinting. "Blood for blood," she snarled, her ears flat against her head.

Rain yelped as his teeth wen tinto her shoulder. She growled and whispered thanks as Ari attacked him. Gathering all her strength she joined Ari, standing right next to her, teeth bared.

Eli squinted as her paw landed on his forehead and she pushed off of him, sending him tumbling back a few paces. "Blood for blood." One of the faes snarled. The other fae joined her and they stood shoulder to shoulder, ready to pounce. "Eye for an eye law eh?" He inquired, raising an eyebrow. "Eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." He limped forward, the gash in his shoulder sending pangs of pain with every step but he ignored it and bounded the last few steps toward the faes. He lunged for the black one first, streaking his claws down her forearm before swiveling around and clamping his jaw shut around the other one's back. He closed his eyes, starting to get dizzy. He was seeing spots but he shook them away and tried to focus on the attack.

Rain clenched her teeth as he swiped at her, but she didn't make a sound. As soon as the brute had taken a hold of the other fae. The black female pulled him off of her and she jumped on him again, this time grabbng the back of his neck and threatning to pierce through his life giving artery. She growled and held on, not caring if he rolled over, she would kill for her pack.

Shadow pulled back. "STOP." Her voice harsh and cold. "He has proved he can lead. Welcome to the Pack Eli." She said carefully. Her eyes with a bit of anger for losing.

Rain was about to cut him off from the light of the world when she heard shadow. She growled, "Lead?What do you mean lead?"

Eli interrupted the converation. "Hey you know what's fun?" He choked. "Breathing." He gestured to the paw that was placed firmly on his chest.

"Rain, that fight was, in a way, a mock fight to see if his leading capabilities were as big as his Ego. He proved he could handle himself as leader, so I welcome the newest male, and the alpha male of the pack, Eli." She said calmly.

Rain growled and moved away from the male. Her eyes showed disbelief. Yet she remained silent. The black female looked at Eli with hostility, but remained quiet and made no further questions.

Eli shoved himself to his feet, wobbling a little but smiling triumphantly. He watched Rain's hostile gaze andit made his stomach sink alittle. Only a little.

"Now that that is settled, lets return to camp WITHOUT killing anyone." She said seeing her betas glare at Eli.

Rain remained there standing and bleeding. She knew that her respect for the male would never be real, but she knew she could fake it. There was only one thing she could not hide, her anger towards him. Hostility shone in her eyes as brightly as the sun glows on cloudless days. Snarling once she nodded at Shadow the hostile looking fading quickly she stood, and prepared to follow Shadow.

Rain nodded yet remained silent. She sighed closing her eyes and taking in her surroundings.

Shadow returned to the camp and went the the infirmary that she hand dug herself.

Eli flopped onto his stomach, waiting for the black splotches to clear from his vision. He admired his shoulder which was still bleeding, but it didn't hurt much anymore.

Rain padded after Shadow, her shoulder hurt, but she insinctively did not show weakness. She would clench her teeth and pad on forward on all fours. She looked at Shadow.

Ari watched them leave than relaxed. She felt a bit guilty scratching him so hard. Her ear didnt hurt anymore... "Welcome to the pack i guess. Shadow got what she wanted. Sorry for scratching you quite so hard."

Eli shrugged. "Life goes on." He was content on acceptance from at least two out of three wolves. He considered it a win. "Sorry for um... well everything..." He trailed off. The faes had ganged up on him so it wasn't much of a fair fight, but it had gotten a little out of hand.

Ari shrugged. "Yeah, no problem. It wasnt a fair fight anyway." She scratched behind her ear absentmindedly. "Anyway, we should head back to the den." Without another word she padded of through the trees.

Eli stayed where he was. He watched the fae leave. Is this really what i want? He asked himself before getting up to follow the fae.
