Eli (joining)

[Eli]

Eli flattened his ears and yawned, stretching. He groggily glanced around, trying to get his eyes to adjust to the blearing sun light. He looked at he scenery, seeing blotches before his vision finally cleared. He could smell other wolves, but couldn't quite place them. He couldn't tell if they were close or far, if there was two or twenty, he shrugged and started off at a trot. He wasn't quite sure if he was trying to find or avoid the wolves but he just let his instincts take over. They guided him through the trees where he found a scent marker. He moved in to take a closer look.

[Shadow]

Shadow had successfully recruited two females, but she still had no males in the pack. Suddenly, a scent wafted towards here, the scent of a male. She ran forward. Was he looking for a pack? If so, depending on how he was, he'd be a good edition. "Hello there." She said as the wolf came into view, strong, a hunters build was immediately noticed.

[Eli]

Eli flinched, startled when he heard a voice. He swiveled around to find a black fae. "Hello there." She said calmly. He looked her up and down. Her jet black fur shown in the sunlight and her deep blue eyes were strong. He pranced over to her. "Hello." He said carefully, coming to sit down in front of the she-wolf.

[Shadow]

"Might I ask who you are? I am Shadow Laylani." She said calmly, sitting down as her blue eyes pierced at him. Who was he indeed? He would make a good hunter or guardian for the pack if he was interested.

[Eli]

"Eli Russel Bane, at your service." He said, sweeping into a low bow. He straightened up and lifted his head arrogantly. "Are you here by yourself?" He asked Shadow, meeting her gaze.

[Shadow]

Shadow rolled her eyes. "No, I was just showing my packs new recruits to the territory." She said, she narrowed her eyes a bit. He was a bit to arrogant to be a respectful pack member.

[Eli]

Eli flinched when shadow narrowed her eyes at him. "I didn't mean anything." He said, swishing his tail slowly. First impressions are important. He thought to himself, putting on a more sincere face. "Recruits? As in you're accepting?"

[Ari]

Ari stepped out from the trees, padding to Shadows side. "I'm sure that will depend." She stepped back and nodded respectfully to Shadow. "Alot on your behavior and if Shadow likes your talent." Her eyes sparkled though, and she surpressed a laugh. She liked this wolf already. He had spirit.

[Eli]

"Talent?" Eli scoffed at the new wolf. "Got plenty of that." He retorted, his eyes gleaming.

[Ari]

Ari full out laughed."Of course you do. Dont all males have talent?" Her eyes sparkled as she turned to Shadow. "I wouldent mind him joining the pack, although its your decision."

[Shadow]

"A trait I look for is respect towards Gammas, Alphas and Betas, Mr. Bane, it seems like you may not be right for the pack. After all, you are talking back to a gamma, however, what I'm looking for right now is leader material. You see, we don't seem to have recruited any males yet, so impress me and you will gain entry to the pack. Prove to me you can lead." She said, her eyes a torment of emotions, the emotions swirling around were hard to pick out. The alphas were a mated pair, she needed a temporary alpha until she gained a mate.

[Eli]

He smiled triumphantly. "Pffft. I can lead in my sleep." He bragged, while circling the area making sure they were alone. A little habbit he had picked up as a loner.

[Ari]

Ari dipped her head. "I guess I will leave you two 'Alphas' alone..." She paused though, not really wanting to leave. Alone forever..

[Shadow]

"Prove it, I don't believe you can." She challenged, her tail giving signals to Ari to be cautious and to leap on her mark. If this wolf was too dangerous, they'd have to attack.

[Eli]

Eli cocked his head to the side. Challenge accepted. He thought to himself. "Name your game." He laughed, mentally preparing himself.

[Ari]

Ari sighed and stopped, standing ready behind Shadow. She was having mixed feelings about her new Alpha, but stayed at the ready.

[Eli]

Eli watched Ari tense behind Shadow, ready to take him out on command. He shook his head, smiling. "Ladies I'm not a threat." He said wryly.

[Ari]

Ari rolled her eyes "But Shadow is," she muttered, very quietly. "Sure," she said, louder this time. "You say that then you..." she trailed of, disgusted with herself. What did she see in this male?

[Eli]

Eli lifted his head up expectantly and was surprised when she didn't finish her sentence. He twitched his ears curiously. Did he do something wrong? "You say that then you..." What was she going to say? He didn't take the time to reflect and just shook his pelt.

[Ari]

Ar narrowed her eyes. "Just get on with it," she muttered. "Are you going to atack? Do you want what rank? Just do something." She relaxed her stance but kept her eyes on him.

[Shadow]

"You beat Ari and I, then your the alpha male." She challenged signalling to attack and leaping herself at the male.

[Eli]

A smile played on Eli's lips, and Shadow came barreling at him before he could think, catching him by surprise. She knocked him to the ground, but he threw her off and shifted his stance into a more defensive one, preparing for a second attack.

[Ari]

Ari narrowed her eyes and used her powerful hind legs to propel herself towards Eli, aiming to land on his back.

[Eli]

Eli yelped as Ari's canines tore into his back, and he quicly knocked her off and swiped at her with his claws. A snarl formed on his lips and adreniline pumped through his body.

[Rain / Thunder]
