Streak the Runner -joining-

[Streak]

Streak stretched out her paws andgaped her jaws in a huge yawn. The dawn sky shimmered above her head and she loped easily down to a nearby pool of water. Bending her head to drink she sighed in content. Then she leaped up and paused, wondering what to do.

[Shadow]

Shadow was along the border, guarding was her favorite job as she started seeing more and more wolves matriculate into the area she called home. Another females scent flooded her nose. "Hello? Who goes there?"

[Streak]

Streak froze. She wondered if she should reveal herself to the stranger. Then she decided that she could always run if necessary. So, gathering her courage, she called out, "Me, the loner, Streak!"

[Shadow]

Shadow ran over to see streak. "Hello, I am Shadow Laylani, alpha of The Pack of Lost Souls."

[Streak]

Streak felt slightly uncomfortable all of a sudden. she was used to being alone. This sudden company didn't do much to ease her tension. "H-hi" she stammered.

[Shadow]

"I'm not going to hurt you." She said kindly.

[Streak]

She hesitated. Shadow's tone sounded convincing. She decided to place a little trust in her. "I'm sorry. I'm just a little... lonely, i guess. And paranoid."

[Shadow]

"I was the same way, I know how you feel." She said calmly, her eyes a bit weary, a lot troubled her mind today.

[Streak]

She paused. Then she murmured, "You once were a loner?"

[Shadow]

"Yes, my pack is new Streak. Would you maybe want to join it?" She offered.

[Streak]

Streak hesitated. This was a big decision. If she said no, she would be lonely, if she said yes she would be under orders... Her freedom.... Well... then, this could be fate that she'd run into Shadow today. And she looked kind as well. "Very well, Shadow Laylani, I will join your pack."

[Shadow]

Shadow nodded, she turned, "Then let us go back to the pack den and you can introduce yourself to the others."

[Streak]

She dipped her head and went with him.

[Shadow]
