Rains amazing entrance

[Rain / Thunder]

Rain walked around. She kept low her ears twitching at every sound. She was nervous, the female knew something was around. The fae continued forward. She closed her eyes, "I have to relax, I've been around more wolves and I'm still alive." Feeling more confident the young wolf lifted her head and tail and took a step forward. She thought about mostly everything, her family, her enemys and how she was kicked out of every pack. Rain sighed and stopped, lifting her nose to the air. The sun shone off of her black coat making it shine. Her white paws squished the soft grass. She smiled and took it all in, but then it came to her. The scent was stronger, she rolled her eyes. She would confront whoever this was, she would go up there bravely. She walked forward and stepped out of the trees into a small clearing.

[Shadow]

Shadow padded around the forest, the volant leaves rocking back and forth on the trees. The wind whistling slightly. It's peaceful here. is all she could think, they only thing her mind would allow to be thought for a few moments. But peace can never last. The words burned into her like an inferno of truth. She had to eat, hunger made her stomach growl with anger and she couldn't stand it anymore.

Shadow lifted her head and breathed in deeply. Her foot was twisted and it stung badly. But she scented something as the scents hit the roof of her mouth. Rabbit? She thought, crouching slightly looking for the area of the delicious scent. Where are you now? She wondered seconds before seeing the rabbit. She silently stalked it. Barely making a move. She was nervous, extremely, like a murder at his trial. She knew catching this rabbit could be the difference between life and death. She was petrified.

She silently leapt at the rabbit, she was lithe and slender so it was easier. She landed on the rabbit and held it down. She thanked the wolf spirits for her catch and pressed down on it's neck until it was dead. She started to savor the mouthfuls of rabbit. The rabbit was juicy, fresh, and delicious. She took a huge gulp and savored the flavor some more, knowing that she didn't know when she would eat next. She finished the rabbit swiftly and was still hungry. Hunger, but alive. She thought, continuing forward.

[Rain / Thunder]

Rain sat down in the clearing. She would either be discovered or left alone. She sighed and looked around. The leaves were blowing around and the cool air whipped her fur. She gave a small hop, she felt so free. So amazing. Ignoring the scent a bit she lied down and thought about having a family. Having someone protect her and her protecting them. She growled at the thought, no one would ever accept her.

[Shadow]

Shadow finished her rabbit and started ahead again, the scent of another wolf hit her nose. Female that was for sure, perhaps she could join the pack Shadow was creating, Shadow had found a lovely spot and it was the Pack of Lost Souls. Great name, it reminded her so much of the tales she'd told. Or her life. Her history. "My tale isn't heroic, or nice as your history I'm sure. But I'll tell you anyways since you're my friend. I was born to adestinct pair of Lone Wolves that to be honest. Hated other wolves. My brother Shade and I started training to survive in a place far from Relic Lore called Death Pine Forest. The first lesson my father taught us, even though I now, after seeing the strength of packs, was Packs are weak, bottomfeeding losers that couldn't take care of themselves, so they hung together and shared food. He specifically told us never to join a pack, or we would taint our blood line. MY brother tried to object as he was the more reasonable one, my father beat him. I tried to get him to stop, he beat me. My father was a cruel, mean steel wall. Whenever I did something wrong, he beat me as a punishment. My mother eventually stepped in, conquering her fear of my father. She was too beaten. It got worse. During my final 'test' , a hunting assignment before I was to go off an live my life. My mother and fahter were attacked by a group of two or three lone wolves. Out of fright, I ran for his life. I thought all my family to be dead. My grandparents gone. My father was an only child, same as my mum as far as I know." The tales still HAUNT her.

[Rain / Thunder]

Rain lied her head down, the scent was getting stronger. She stood ready to run or fight if she was surrounded by more wolves than she could smell. She shook her head of all thought except defense. Her eyes gleamed and her muscles tensed as she looked in the direction of where she believed the wolf was. She remained quiet, so as not to be considered a threat.

[Shadow]

Shadow saw the wolf as she stepped into a clearing of the forest made with food. Food grew on trees? Shadow figured she was going insane. "Hello there, I am Shadow Laylani." She said kindly.

[Rain / Thunder]

Rain relaxed and looked at this wolf, there was something peculiar about her, she cleared her thraot. "I am Rain, Rain Leaf." Her voice was smooth and pleasing.

(Couldn't think of a good last name lol.)

[Shadow]

"Hello Rain, what brings you here? To this small woods?" She said kindly. She would not flare up until provoked. But her motto, 'I shot the sheriff, but I didn't shoot the deputy. I shot the sheriff, with a 30 cal then I laughed all day long. Nothing can bag this rag tag team.' Sure it could use some work, but she figured what the heck, why not? She continued forward and sat down in front of the fae. If this fae provoked her the tiniest bit, she would open up a can if butt-kicking.

[Rain / Thunder]

Rain too sat down. "I'm exploring Shadow. Exploring to see where I will be accepted as I am." She replied quickly and quietly. Her ears flattened a bit, she was getting nervous.

[Shadow]

"Accepted? As in like a pack? If it's a pack, I may be able to swing it. I'm starting my own in fact, I already have the territory picked out, I dug out the den by paw and everything. The offers on the table." She said kindly. This was just a kind wolf looking for a home.

[Rain / Thunder]

Rain perked up a bit, "Well thats exactly what I'm looking for." she stood and smiled, "Really? You would accept me, as me?" She totally forgot that the wolf did not know her well.

[Shadow]

"Of course, the point of a pack is really to overcome adversity between members." She said. Why was this wolf shocked by her asking?

[Rain / Thunder]

Rain smiled shyly and nodded, "If I may -she smiled- May I join?" She chuckled lightly, she always felt better to ask. She sat down and looked at Shadow, it felt amazing for someone not to chase her out.

[Shadow]

"Of course you may Rain." She said dipping her head in a kind gesture. 1 Wolf down, 2 more to go.

[Rain / Thunder]

Rain smiled, yet her tail remained still. She did not want to show too much excitement. She nodded respectfully and looked at Shadow. She looked at her and sighed smiling, not knowing what to do next

[Shadow]

"Come on, let me show you the pack territory and den." She said getting up, shaking the leaves from her fur, it was mid-September.

[Rain / Thunder]

Rain smiled and stood up to follow her. She opened her mouth to ask something but remained silent instead, "I can ask later." Nodding to herself she followed.
